Dear Colleague,

It is through the collective power of our membership that we are a strong voice for individuals who provide and receive Speech Language Pathology and Audiology services across the State. Indeed, MSLHA is the only organization in the State of Maine dedicated to advocacy on your behalf.

MSLHA membership dues are used to support the Speech Pathology and Audiology professions in Maine. The largest portion of our budget is spent contracting with a Legislative Consultant who identifies and notifies us of bills of interest, attends public hearings, drafts legislation, finds sponsors, attends work sessions, attends meetings, and speaks with legislators on our behalf. MSLHA committee members and task forces work with our Legislative Consultant and State organizations to promote our professions.

In addition to the Legislative Consulting services, MSLHA supports you professionally

through collective-power advocacy

by providing high quality conferences with ASHA approved CEUs

with networking opportunities via MaineLine (listserv)

by quarterly publication of MSLHAMatters (newsletter)
